1 Corinthians 13:4-7
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast,  it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not  easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always

Starting or Finishing ???
Jn:17:4:   I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
Acts:20:24:   But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, whi
God the Father had given Jesus specific objectives to fulfill on earth. Paul had been given specific tasks by Christ as well, (Ac:9:15-16).
Both Deity and mortal man said at the end of their ministries, that they had completed their purposes ... (on earth).
We are taught w.r.t. career and world living, that it is important to set goals, and work hard towards them. To achieve our greatest potential. However, are we setting spiritual objectives as well??? Does it matter to us that we are of both spirit and the body and that the Word commands us to seek the Will of God first and then some. And that the spiritual things are eternal and counts for more than this life?
It is sobering to think about laying up the "right" treasures in the "right bank."

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
I think it's so awesome that Isaiah was willing to do anything the Lord said. I hope when He asks whom shall He send, I can say 'Here am I Lord send me' no questions asked. Can you do the same?

A person who desires to create a positive image has to be concerned with the needs of people and society. This includes an interest in preserving the environment, caring for the poor, not discriminating against the stranger and treating everyone fairly

Look who did the choosing.
1Pt:2:9:
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
When we accepted Christ... we must have thought that, well, we made the choice, alone. Hum.
According to scriptures, it is the H S who draws us to Christ, and furthermore, what God said to Jeremiah applies to us today, that even b4 he formed us in the womb, He knew us and consecrated us. Here we see that we are a chosen bunch. We have a new position... We are in the light..oops, Light.

Let's not resist the HS, and therefore, be drawn to God.
We have a greater purpose than what we can concieve. To "show forth the praises of Him" is to declare Him and to announce the kingdom of God.

And He has a sense of humour too ;-)
Isa:44:8:
Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.
Now if the All-Knowing [Omniscient] One is unaware of the existence of any other "god," who are we to argue with that???
"I know not any." No!...really, I don't know any.

To  Have  Fellowship  and  To  Restore  Fellowship
2Cor:5:19:
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
The purpose of the Word and Christ's work on the cross is to restore what the first Adam lost. Relationship and fellowship with God. In addition to this He commands that we help others to be restored as well. God does not want fellowship with one person, or a group, but He desires that all men find Him. So, for this purpose the word of reconcilation has been committed to you and me.

Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you to the next soul that He has in queue.
